Cost Management


Cost Management is very different from Cost Reduction, the latter usually being solely procurement based and often introduces other unexpected consequential issues and costs.

Cost Management looks at the entire service, not just all of the whole-life costs but also the Quality of Service.

DMDMSL deliver a holistic approach to Cost Management that  involve the following stages:
  • Initial review of services providing feedback on areas being effectively managed and identifying areas where opportunity for improvement exists.
  • Total management of projects to deliver solutions. These are undertaken to have little or no impact upon staff or the operation of the business during the project.
  • Negotiation of procurement contracts on behalf of the client, although the client retains full decision making.
  • Implementation of all elements of the solutions.
  •  Ongoing support and consultancy
We work with specialised partners who are experts in their field, but DMDMSL still retain responsibility for Quality of Service which ensures only appropriate and professional solutions are considered.

In almost all cases, the projects are completely self-financing where any fees are paid retrospectively, thus ensuring that the experience for the client is always cash flow positive. The only exceptions are where the client has asked for one of our other options that is a better fit to their needs.

Consultancy


One of the great challenges facing SMEs is insufficient resource and expertise to address current issues and move the organisation forward to where it wants to be.  This can be due to the lack of the physical resources or the perceived cost of employing external expertise.

The majority of the Consultancy that we provide to our clients is included within the self-financing projects that we undertake for them. This enables them to move forward without the need to find the necessary resource or funding.

We not only identify what needs to happen, and advise you on this, but also take responsibility for delivering the solution.

Once the solution is delivered, you will continue to have access to the expertise and advice required to help you meet challenges, such as operational and regulatory, as they arise.

Access to genuinely independent expertise will ensure you always have the information necessary to make good business decisions and allow your staff to concentrate on the important aspects of operating the business.
